Pair of Themed Pacific Urns

Ted Kindleysides

A pair of tall, slender lidded urns by Ted Kindleysides, inspired by Pacific themes. Incised horizontal bands of geometric patterning in earthy ochre, terracotta and deep brown wrap each tapered form, with braided fibre cords looping between the shoulder handles and finishing in knotted tassels. Stepped lids are crowned with pale finials, and each urn stands on a flat square plinth base.
