Thorburn's Birds 2
Marion Manson
Formed from the beautifully illustrated pages of Thorburn's Birds, this piano-hinge sculpture folds Archibald Thorburn's vintage bird paintings into a woven, arching form. Each page edge reveals a fragment of feather and field, celebrating the artistry of the original plates while giving the discarded book a new sculptural life.
